The "Oracle PL/SQL Workshop - Beginner" training is a comprehensive course designed for people who want to learn the basics of programming in PL/SQL in the Oracle environment. During this intensive training, participants will receive a solid foundation necessary to effectively use PL/SQL to manipulate data, create procedures, functions, program blocks, and optimize queries.
The training program focuses on providing participants with theoretical knowledge combined with practical exercises that will help participants consolidate the acquired knowledge. The training begins with an introduction to PL/SQL and an explanation of how it integrates with an Oracle Database. Participants will learn about programming tools that make working with PL/SQL easier, and learn about different types of data and variables.
Next, the training focuses on creating and executing simple PL/SQL blocks, where participants learn syntax and create conditions and loops. They will walk through creating procedures and functions, learning how to pass parameters and how to return values from functions.
Exception handling is another important element of the training, where participants will gain skills in capturing and handling errors in PL/SQL. They will be able to learn how to use EXCEPTION statements effectively to control program flow.
Another topic is the use of cursors in PL/SQL, where participants will learn how to define, open and process cursor results.
Triggers are another important element of the training, during which participants will learn how to create and manage triggers, which will enable them to react to data changes in the database.
The training also covers the use of PL/SQL in SQL queries, including how to create dynamic SQL queries, which will allow participants to perform more flexible data operations.
Optimizing PL/SQL is another important topic that attendees will focus on, where they will learn about PL/SQL performance optimization techniques and how to use indexes efficiently.
During the training, there is also an opportunity to learn PL/SQL debugging, which will allow participants to effectively identify and solve problems in the code.
After completing the training, participants will receive a certificate of completion confirming the acquired knowledge and skills in the field of Oracle PL/SQL at a basic level. This is a valuable achievement that can help participants in their professional careers, especially in areas related to databases and data analysis.
